What kind of friend are you looking for? I have sons a year older and a year younger than you, and I'm divorced from their father. I read your blog entry and it sounds like you're going through a really tough time. But, as much as I'm sure you'll hate to hear it, it sounds like it's something that your mother and father have to work out. And... the thing I told my kids over and over again when I divorced... it's not your fault. Either your father will continue to be a jerk, or he won't and there really isn't anything you can do about it, other than state your case clearly "Dad, I really miss how we used to do things together and I'd really like to start doing that again" and then let it go.
