I edited today. Yah for me! :-)

And I won't give myself a hard time because I didn't get very far, because I read over the first chapter, and like the new transition. It's completely in character, and I put in a hint of something into the first chapter, which makes it fall right into place. And it worked out well. So, my fight for the last... how long?... checking... around 4 months is finally over, the transition from chapter 1 to chapter 2 is done.

As I write that last sentence, I'm not sure if that's a sad thing (it taking so long for something seemingly so simple) or a happy thing (I'm not stuck). But I said I wouldn't give myself a hard time, so I won't... it's a happy thing. :-)

Plus, I got a whole bunch of other stuff done, which somewhat whittled down my to-do list. It helps that I keep an actual list, and that way I can see what I got done today. It doesn't feel quite so pointless. So, lots done, again a happy thing. :-)

And I picked up my new glasses. Always fun getting new glasses and getting used to them. Besides I had fun picking them out. My normal glasses are quite boring and normal, but my reading glasses are very chic and cute, with purple rims. And my sunglasses arevery purple, *grin* both lenses and frames... most cool!

Beyond that, blessings upon my Ex, for having the muscles and experience with stuborn hardware, to get the blasted nuts off the bolts for the toilet seat, so we could put a new one on, and quit risking injury every time we sat down. With only one bathroom in the house, this is important. :-)

A delightful dinner with a good friend and a trip to the bookstore topped off the day. The world is a good place today.
