... sometimes I just wish... I wish... I'm not even sure what I wish. *sigh*

Decided this morning to go through my stacks on my desk, enter everything into the computer, all my bills, all my writing snippets, everything. I was going to make an attempt at getting back to being organized.

Got some bills entered, easy enough. Next thing on my stack was a napkin with backstory on it. Okay... I know I've worked on this story before, where is it? Search the main computer, not there. Laptop? No, not there. Look on main computer again. No. Go back through archives from my digital pen, and amazingly enough, there it is. 

But wait a minute... everytime I sync my digital pen, I export all the stuff to text and save it in the files for the various books. But the stuff for this book isn't there! So I wonder: what about the pages before that? Did they get missed, too? So I start paging back... and lo and behold... there's a whole s--tload of stuff that is in the archives from the pen, that never apparently made it onto paper...

Including a version of the scene that I'm currently fighting with! A 1-year-old version of this scene!! A much better version of this scene! Why is it hiding in the archives instead of having been put down on paper?!? *sigh*

You know what I wish? 

I wish I had a brain. Where's my brain?

It's got to be around here someplace.

Maybe it's hiding in this stack on my desk with everything else. Guess if I keep working I'll eventually find it... so best get back to it.
