It was a good editing day today, 7,741 words edited, but that's mostly because the scenes only needed tweaking. I need to go back through them again to make sure I got the sensory stuff I need, but other than that, I should be done through Chapter 11.

The next four scenes, 2-ish chapters, also only need tweaking, so I expect them to go quickly. Oh, I did add a chapter that I didn't expect to, so 18 total chapters, I think.

Beyond that, did laundry and had kids help me take out window air conditioners and put up storm windows. The joy of old houses.

Tomorrow is a work day, so no writing. Maybe tomorrow night I can edit more. But the next scene is calling to me: "edit me... edit me". However, I'm made of sterner stuff than that. I need my sleep. So I just closed the notebook and set it aside, so now the "edit me... edit me" is muffled enough that I can ignore it. Paying job comes before nonpaying book.
