Life is seriously interfering with my writing. Last weekend, I finished chapter 12 and got started on chapter 13, but the lead character of the scene and I are arguing. He wants to do something one way, and I can't figure out how to make that work, so I want to do it another, which leaves us at an impass for the moment.

Then I entered the RWA Golden Heart contest, and thought that the paper entry had to be postmarked by Dec 3rd, but thankfully I checked, and found out the paper entry had to arrive by Dec 3rd. *sigh* So, it's not what it might have been, but it's as close as it's going to get. I ended up getting my whole 1st three chapters into the page limit, so that worked out well. And the synopsis is at least adequate. Got it into the overnight mail this afternoon, so it should get there tomorrow, a whole day early.

Work's been going good. Setting up a store. Finally figuring out Joomla and VirtueMart. Prying into the guts of both of them to tweak the things I want tweaked. It's keeping me entertained.

Signed up today for new hosting service for my web sites. Found out my old host wanted to charge me for access to MySQL... charge more each month than I was paying for the hosting service. I said "no thank you". My new site will host all three domains, give me a ton more space, a ton more features and unlimited MySQL databases, for considerably less than my old host was costing me. Now I just need to get everything transfered over from the two domanis they were hosting, and the new domain set up... as if I didn't have enough to do.

Kids are all good, so that's a blessing. House and animals are all in one piece. I've gone to my new gym every day this week, of course the first week is the easy week, so we'll see how I keep doing. I'm learning tons of new things. And I've actually got a start on my Xmas shopping. Life is good! :-)
