 This is the kind of kid my eldest is:

 The dog that's limping needs $3k of surgery to fix her knee, and the vet called back this evening and told me she's got cancer, too. She only 6 years old, bouncing around and full of energy, friendly and lovable. *sigh* Just what I need.

And, instead of working today, I finished all the christmas stuff that needed to get done and into the mail, and ordered everything that needed to be ordered. So, christmas is mostly done, and that's good.

Now I just need to clean the house for the hoard that are coming for dinner tomorrow. It'll be good to see them, and I'll enjoy it while they're here, and I'll enjoy the clean house after they go... but right now...

I think I need a hot bath and an early bedtime, tomorrow things will look better.

I got a new host for my web sites, and a new web site beyond the two I had. I figured that since at least one of the books sitting in my head is a young adult, that I'd best do something to seperate out the erotica from the rest of my books. So www.JacquiPowers.com now exists. It's empty at the moment, but I'll either just be linking it over to www.JackiePowers.com or putting stuff on it shortly. I'm not sure if I want to seperate out the erotica, or seperate out the young adult. But either way, I figured I might as well grab the web site while I was doing all the other web site mucking.

Beyond that, I fought with a client's web site all day. I wanted to do something one way, and CSS was fighting me. I think I won, but I have to test it some more.

 Can I just get rid of all of them? Life would be cheaper and easier. *sigh* (Read more)
